Caitlin’s artwork is greatly influenced by her local landscape. Born and raised outside Calgary, Alberta, art and adventure have always played a large role in her life. Trips to the mountains, summer camps as a child, and local exploration have fueled Caitlin’s curiosity of the outdoors and her imagination. 

 

After studying art at the University of Lethbridge, she continues to primarily use acrylic paints and mixed mediums within her pieces. Caitlin's use of vibrant colours to capture the adventurous pastimes commonly enjoyed in western Canada, and celebrate the deep-rooted connections that outdoor pursues play in our recreational lives through her still life and landscape paintings.
